Additional Variation Images Gallery plugin

Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce plugin gives the option to set different images for each of WooCommerce product variations.

This can be done by navigating to the product Edit page and opening Variations tab. In this tab can be found all created variations for the current variable product. Open each of these variations to change their default product image. Default image is equal to parent product main image.

Advanced Woo Search ( AWS ) plugin has built-in support for Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce plugin.

AWS PRO plugin version has an option to choose what products types to display inside search results: only parent ( variable ) product, parent and child ( variations ) products or only child products.
This can be set from the plugin settings page.

So if you choose to display product variations inside the search results that plugin will display an image for this variation that you set via Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce plugin. Overwise will be used as a parent product image.
